A 26-year veteran of the executive search industry, Sue joined Carlyle Group as a managing director in the Life Sciences and Healthcare, Business and Professional Services, and Technology Practices.
Based in Boston, Sue Pace McKay specializes in recruiting for New England regional industry sectors: life sciences – medical devices, biotech, contract research, diagnostics; pharmaceuticals; technology – semiconductor, software, telecom, electronic components, capital equipment; professional services – strategy consulting, accounting services, government contractors; and insurance – property/casualty and life/health. Sue’s functional-area expertise includes general management, finance, IT, marketing, sales, operations and human resources. She serves a wide range of clients, from early-stage companies to the Fortune 500, with a particular focus in the mid-market sector.
Sue began her career with a large industrial company and also was a consultant at a leading global professional services firm. She is an involved member of the Boston-area business community and is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Human Resource Leadership Forum and The Boston Club.
Sue has a BA cum laude in political science from Mount Holyoke College.
