Larry Loubet

Co-managing the Real Estate Practice, Larry’s expertise encompasses virtually all functional areas of the real estate industry.

Larry Loubet has completed assignments in debt and equity finance, real estate services, property and asset management, leasing, development, construction, accounting, information technology, corporate real estate, operations and management consulting.

His success is evidenced by his ability to fulfill client hiring needs on a national basis for positions as diverse as managing director-corporate real estate services, partner-client capital marketing, managing director-client accounting, president-property management, managing director-capital markets, vice president and national director-capital markets, principal-DUS finance, and chief information officer.

Prior to joining Carlyle Group in 1987, Larry spent a year with a search firm specializing in banking and finance. Before beginning his career in search, he was a psychotherapist treating individuals and families for a family service and community mental health center. He is active with a variety of professional real estate organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Larry received an MA in social service administration from the University of Chicago and a BA in history and psychology from Rutgers University.
